GJA, GIBA commiserates with family of late TV3 Network Reporter

The Northern Region Chapter of the Ghana Journalists Association and members of the Ghana Independent Broadcasters Association today Thursday February 15, 2018 joined the family of the late Zakaria Abdul Kadir to observe the final funeral rites.

This happened at his residents in Dungu, suburb of the Tamale metropolis. Mr. Zak as he was affectionately called died last week Friday, February 9, 2018 after battling short illness at the Tamale Teaching Hospital. He joined the TV3 Network in 2002 but before that, he worked with Tamale base North Star FM, Justice FM and the Ghana News Agency (GNA) as well as the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC).

Meanwhile, the delegation was led GJA Chairman,  Caesar Abagali of the GNA, Abdul Karim Nantogmah of Citi FM, Yakubu Abdul Majeed of Ghanaian Times News paper and Sam Doudo of the Daily Graphic News paper. The team supported the widow, Hajia Muni and the bereaved family with an undisclosed amount of money.

In a related development, the Northern Regional Minister, Mr. Salifu Sa-eed on Wednesday supported the beareved family with food items and an undisclosed amount of money to aid in the performance of the final funeral rites. The late Zak left behind a male child.
