The statement further disclosed that, the operation “Suhu doo” seeks to also galvanise public support and cooperation for the security apparatus to be able to maintain absolute peace in the region.
Meanwhile, the Regional Minister earlier described 2018 as an action year for which reason there would be no room for the culture of impunity, therefore, the decision to launch operation calm lives. This sources closer to REGSEC indicates will be a joint operation between the Ghana Police Service and the Arm Forces.
As part of the activities to launch the program, Security Personnel are expected to observe a route march in the Tamale metropolis. Traditional rulers, opinion leaders, youth groups and all Peace groups are expected to participate in the event. This is to inspire hope, safety and prosperity in the people.
