Rashid Tanko denied attacking Sadik Cybha with a gun – Police

The Northern Regional Police Command has disclosed that the former Regional Youth Employment Agency Coordinator, Rashid Tanko Computer denied ever attacking the host of North Arts on  Sagani Television, Sadik Cybha because of a lady on the 30th of July 2017 in his statement after invited for questioning.  News about the allege gun attack was broke by hyperlinksgh.com yesterday.

According to the entertainment news portal, the Former Regional YEA Coordinator attacked Sadik Cybha because of a lady. The story stated a trusted eye-witness confirmed the attack on Sadik Cybha by Tanko Rashid-Computer who was with a pistol in the company of three other people to warn the TV Host to stay away from a lady identified as Seidu Samira whom he had a love affair with.

The story added Mr. Tanko further threatened to kill Sadik Cybha he refuses to follow his order of leaving the lady he described as his wife.

Confirming the story to North Star news, the Northern Regional Police Public Relations Officer, Yussif Tanko said “Sadik Cybha on 31st July 2017 visited the station and reported that he had been threatened by one Rashid Tanko over his relationship with a lady who he the latter said was he girlfriend”.

He added Sadik Cybha alleged the suspect came to his house with other guys and threatened him with a gun. “According to the complainant the incident took place on Sunday at about 9am.”

The Police PRO noted the suspect (Rashid Tanko) was invited to the station where he wrote his caution statement and later released on Police inquiry bail while investigations continue.

The Police, according to the PRO also visited the suspect House and conducted a search for the gun that proved futile. Mr. Yusif however stated that investigation is still in progress to unravel the truth behind the matter.
